#GrowYourOwnOxygen

Urban Gardening for Clean Air & Healthy Living

Why This Initiative Was Started

Cities are growing, green spaces are shrinking, and the air we breathe is getting heavier. The food we consume often travels hundreds of kilometres and carries chemicals. While we may not be able to change cities overnight, we can change what surrounds us.

Even a few plants at home can improve air quality, reduce heat, and provide fresh, chemical-free food. Terrace gardens have helped lower indoor temperatures and reduce reliance on air conditioners.

About Us

#GrowYourOwnOxygen is an urban gardening initiative encouraging people to bring greenery into everyday spaces — balconies, terraces, windowsills, and indoors. No land. No expertise. Just the willingness to begin.

Every plant cleans the air, cools your surroundings, and brings us closer to a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle. You may not change the city overnight  but you can change the air around you.

Natural & Community Gardening

Community Gardening

Community gardening brings neighbours together to grow plants in shared spaces. It improves air quality, creates a local food source, and builds harmony through shared care and ownership. Growing together transforms communities into healthier, greener environments.

Natural Gardening

Natural gardening follows traditional, regenerative methods using natural inputs and minimal soil disturbance. Also known as No-Dig gardening, it improves soil health, reduces water needs, and produces fresher, healthier food  without chemicals or fertilisers. It’s simple, sustainable, and aligned with nature.
